Description: This course will explore the options, shapes, patterns and transitions when tying against a floating bamboo
Prerequisites: Advanced course or equivalent, including ability to tie a safe and stable gote, and safe uplines. Knowledge of own and partners’ boundaries and limitations. Body awareness, ability to communicate effectively with partner.
Ability to communicate safely and clearly with each other.
Safety, curiosity, consent and respect are expected throughout.

What will I learn?
Agenda
Throughout the course we will explore different shapes & patterns.
We will establish how to tie a safe(r) hardpoint on a moving bamboo, and consider risk and mitigation options.
We will extend our knowledge from static positions to transitions both on, and using, the bamboo
Please bring
Suitable clothing, safety shears
Minimum 8 lengths of rope (8-10m each, as needed)
Minimum 3 carabiners
Teaching method
We will begin each tie with a demonstration including alternatives that can be used, depending on the comfort and experience levels of the tying partners.
Each demonstration will include open-ended options for participants to add and develop in accordance with their own boundaries, intentions and profiles.
During all ties, we will encourage you to look for alternative solutions and guide you if needed.
We will support you at all times.
